Step 1: Place rice and milk in a small saucepan and cook, stirring, over low heat for 15 minutes or until creamy. 0:56

Step 3: Remove pot from heat, then pour egg and sugar into rice mixture, stirring to combine. Add vanilla extract and butter, stirring until butter is fully incorporated. 3:06
Step 4: To make the raspberry compote, place berries in a small saucepan with sugar and 1 tbs of water, and cook on medium heat for 3 minutes or until syrupy. 4:16
Step 5: Divide pudding among bowls. Serve topped with compote and toasted flaked almonds. 5:12
