Getting proportions right in urban sketching is one of the key steps to accurate sketching. And there are lots of different tips, tricks and techniques to use - I want to show you, today, the three techniques I use most of all. And I'll explain how and why I use them.

Of course, this can feel challenging - but it really doesn't have to be.

In this video I'll take you step by step through three easy techniques to use, to measure your proportions and get them accurate, whilst maintaining your creativity and spontaneity in your sketches.

I'll show you practically how to use these techniques, and how to apply them to reference photos and even still life sketches.
