Easy summer DIY project, dye your clothes using flowers!

Basic tutorial on how to create eco prints on silk fabric with roses and irises. Natural dyeing is fun, experimental, and a beautiful and eco-friendly way to use plants from your garden to update clothes in your closet.
For this project you just need:
- a piece of silk or wool clothing (cotton can also work but not as well, and be careful with wool because it can shrink)
- flowers (research the kind of flowers you are using to make sure they dye well and are non-toxic)
- elastics or string
- a stainless steel pot (optional- with a steamer) - it's better to use a pot that you don't eat from, but it's ok if you make sure the plants are non-toxic
- water
