I love it when the connections between my Feldenkrais experience and horse training become evident. Inspired by Alexandra Kurland and my Feldenkrais teacher Nathalie van Cauwenberghe, I spent a lot of time exploring tiny movements in the poll on a vertical line - in myself and with Blondie - and the effects of these minuscule movements are astounding and wonderful. What I am looking for is a smooth transition between levels of flexion and direction. I love that Blondie can follow my subtle suggestions through my hand without tension or stutter. It’s a lovely feel. So full of trust! The concept here is Reversibility. Are you able to reverse the movement at any moment without tension?
