Special Sadya Style Vada Koottu Curry :-
Ingredients:-
1. Orad dal - 1/4 - 1/2 cup
2. Water - 4 Tsp
3. Green chilli - 1 Tsp
4. Ginger - 1 Tsp
5. Salt - According to taste
6. Coconut oil - 1/2 cup (for frying)
7. Curry leaves
8. Potato - 2 medium
9. Onion - 2
10. Coconut oil - 1 Tbs
11. Turmeric powder - 1/4 Tsp
12. Pepper powder - 1/4 Tsp
13. Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 Tsp
14. Coriander powder - 1 Tsp
15. Coconut powder - 1 Tsp
16. Coconut milk (second extract) - 1 cup
17. Coconut milk (first extract) - 1 cup
18. Garam masala powder - 3/4 Tsp
Tempering:-
1. Coconut oil - 1 1/2 Tbs
2. Mustard seeds 1 Tsp
3. Dry red chillies - 4 nos (split)
4. Curry leaves
Special Sadya Style Rasam :-
Ingredients:-
1. Tamarind - 1 (gooseberry size)
2. Water - 2 cups
3. Tomato - 2 big (square pieces)
4. Tamarind water - 2 cups
5. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
6. Kashmiri powder - 2 tsp
7. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
8. Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
9. Jeera powder (Cumin seeds) - 1/2 tsp
10. Asafoetida powder - 1/4 tsp
11. Salt - According to taste
12. Tuvar dal stock - 2 cups
13. Garlic (Crushed) & Ginger (Crushed)
14. Coriander leaves
Tempering:-
1. Coconut oil - 1 1/2 Tbs
2. Mustard seeds 1 Tsp
3. Dry red chillies - 4 nos (split)
4. Curry leaves
