Let's cut open some ammonite fossils and see WHAT'S INSIDE! I was sent two ammonite fossils, both from the Sahara in Africa, from Sabri. He wanted to see what was going on inside these beautiful and amazing fossils! Not only did we get to see the beautiful anatomy within, we also got to see druzy crystals inside the ammonite chambers and other crystallization inside the other, and how it reacts when put under UV (ultraviolet) light. These were some very nervous cuts but they turned out perfect and I am very happy about that!
