God looked for a people that He could use to demonstrate Himself - His character and His perfect plan. He chose the Jews. By looking at Scripture, particularly the Book of Romans, Amir Tsarfati explains how we can learn by observing the twists and turns of the love story between God and Israel, our Lord’s faithfulness, compassion, love, and mercy, as well as His jealousy and wrath when He is rejected for others. In His plan, God turned to the Jew first, then to the Gentile. But that doesn’t mean that He has moved on from His chosen people. God’s never-failing love for Israel is our insurance policy for the Lord’s faithfulness and His covenant-keeping nature.
