***ONE DOWNSIDE TO THIS I JUST NOTICED: When folded this way, propping the iPad up vertically (like they show for watching videos) is much less sturdy - the magnets are all that's holding the triangle together against the leverage of the iPad. Since I very rarely used my old iPad that way, this shouldn't be much of an issue for me personally, but wanted to put this caveat out there!!**
Video showing the benefits of folding the Smart Cover differently than is showed on Apple's promotional videos. The thinking is that when folded "up" like shown in promos, the microfiber side that rests against the screen when closed is much more apt to pick up dirt/grit/grime from the table you're propping the iPad 2 up on. When folded the other way ("down"), it's the polyurethane or leather side that rests on the table - this side doesn't come into contact with the screen of your iPad 2.
