In April of 2014, Chuck Hood was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a fast-growing type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow. His oncologist referred him to the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver where he was treated by Dr. Tara Gregory. Through genetic testing, Dr. Gregory and Chuck decided that a bone marrow transplant would be the best treatment option. Thankfully, Chuck's sister was a match. In this video, he talks about his experience and why anyone suffering from blood cancer should go to P/SL.
