노벨경제학상, '새 경매방식 발명' 美밀그럼•윌슨 공동수상
Two American economists won this year's Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences, for improving and inventing new theories of how auctions work.
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced Monday... the discoveries of Paul Milgrom and Robert Wilson, both professors at Stanford University... have benefitted sellers, buyers and taxpayers around the world.
Their formats in auctioning go beyond achieving the highest price possible... and have been used to sell goods and services traditionally difficult to sell, such as radio frequencies, fishing quotas and airport landing slots.
