Swati Maliwal alleges Arvind Kejriwal's aide Bibhav assaulted her on CM's behest at his residence.
Did Kejriwal orchestrate attack on his own party MP?
Swati Maliwal, former chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women and AAP leader, has alleged that she was assaulted at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence by his close aide Bibhav Kumar.
Maliwal made two PCR calls from the CM's residence, stating that she had been attacked on Kejriwal's instructions.
However, no formal complaint has been filed yet. Bibhav Kumar, recently sacked from his position as Kejriwal's personal secretary due to an "illegal appointment", has faced previous legal issues, including a case of assault dating back to 2007. BJP
representatives have criticized AAP over Maliwal's allegations, with Union Minister Rajeev Chandrashekar referencing Kejriwal's past altercation with a chief secretary and BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya questioning Maliwal's credibility due to her silence on Kejriwal's previous arrest.
Former Delhi BJP president Vijender Gupta labeled Kejriwal as a "dictator" and a "megalomaniac", citing Maliwal's assault as evidence of his alleged authoritarian behavior. #SwatiMaliwal #ArvindKejriwal #BibhavKumar #AAP #BJP #AssaultAllegations #DelhiChiefMinister
