I was unable to find any biographical information on this obscure composer, except that he was an organist in Paris, who published one volume of harpsichord works in 1772, from which these three pieces were taken. They are quite well composed; thus it is a shame we don’t know the whereabouts of other compositions by Dufour (assuming that he composed more than the works in this volume). Should anyone know more about him, please get in touch and let me know!
