MILFORD, Ohio (WKRC) - A fundraiser was held on Saturday to help a Clermont County man who developed locked-in syndrome.
Brett Walls developed the syndrome after suffering a stroke. He's aware but can't move or talk.
A group of his friends from the Milford High School Class of 1981 learned about his situation and took action.
The group, along with other friends and family, started the event.
The hope is to buy a handicap-accessible van for Walls.
There's also an account set up at Fifth Third Bank.
