The Fisherman - Fishing Planet: Halloween 2020 - Black Vampire Gar Fins!
It's Halloween again, and this time I am going to see how far I can get through this event on The Fisherman: Fishing Planet instead of Fishing Planet Classic.
Every year, Fishing Planet Classic AND The Fisherman: Fishing Planet host a two-week Halloween Event across multiple waterways and makes for charmingly horrifying fishing and frightful adventure! To advance through the full event. you have to complete dreadfully creepy missions that help you to to gain the ability to summon and catch the Abominable Frankenfish and get the unique Monstrosity Kayak as a reward!
Other cool features include:
- Hunting for Ghost Pikes, Mutant Gars and Skeleton Bluegills to complete the cool Halloween challenges.
- Looking for Tombstones and Vicious Pumpkins to get some awesome FREE angling loot!
- Take part in special Monster Fish side missions which includes the Mad-Eyed Buffalo, Tyrannotrout, and more!
Or complete the main story-line by collecting numerous potion ingredients that will allow you to travel to San Joaquin and use the Witches Cauldron to summon the Abominable Frankenfish - a scary and gruesome monster-fish boss that came to life as a result of a bizarre prank-gone-wrong!
***FINALE ***
In the seventh and FINAL episode, I am headed to San Joaquin Lake, California with ingredients in hand, to brew the Summoning Potion. This requires me to enter the "Fishing the Beaver" peg at Beaver Island where the Witch's Cauldron is located. Once the ingredients are placed into the cauldron, the monster Frankenfish is summoned from its slumber allowing you to equip you Slimy Crank on your heaviest tackle in order to pull him in. DO NOT underestimate the strength of this monster, otherwise you will be forced to purchase another Slimy Crank lure!
