We are proud to launch the very first school of lifeguards in Uzbekistan!
As part of the preparation of our Work and Travel participants for Summer 2020 as professional lifeguards, we launched the very first PROFESSIONAL LIFEGUARD SCHOOL in Central Asia.
Global Friends hired a professional coach who was guiding our students for 3 months, 2 times a week. He has been closely working individually with each participant to ensure that they will become great participants and professional lifeguards who would be able to perform at their duties.
The goals of the school of Lifeguards :
- To instill the self-discipline, goal-oriented behavior, and efficient time management required to excel in professional swimming.
- Build a strong, muscular body to honorably represent the profession of lIfeguard
- Educate and train participants on how to prevent injuries by minimizing or eliminating hazardous situations or behaviors.
- Educate participants on how to enforce facility rules and regulations and educating patrons about them.
- Provide participants with CPR training
