Cleveland weather forecast for Monday, September 9, 2024.
This week's main weather theme will be temperatures as we warm up a little each day--eventually returning to summer-like levels. There's not a lot of active weather across the US, but we'll be keeping our eyes on a weak system sliding out of Canada into Pennsylvania this afternoon. This will bring a few showers through the area, otherwise we'll enjoy a mix of sun and a few clouds to start our work and school week. As we get our work and school week started, we'll be enjoying some quiet weather with a mix of sunshine and a few passing clouds. Highs will be comfortable today in the mid 70s.
Expect temps to continue to warm this week with low to mid 80s expected by mid-week. With little change to our weather pattern--literally nothing is moving--we'll enjoy quiet weather with lots of sunshine all week long. We will have to turn our attention to the tropics this week as a new tropical storm/hurricane to be named Francine will develop and head through the Gulf into Louisiana sometime mid-week. The remnants of Francine would then head north towards the Ohio Valley bringing high clouds and perhaps some late week showers. Most model guidance slows this system down and prevents much/if any rain from reaching us.
This would leave us with a dry week.
Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast.
MONDAY: Sun, few clouds with stray showers possible as a system slides by to our east. Mid 70s.
TUESDAY: Sunshine with a few PM clouds. Near 80.
WEDNESDAY: Sunny skies. Low 80s.
