Hi there, here is a video that shows how you can automate the lights to turn on/off when you close the door.

I used the Xiaomi Aqara Wall Switch as a relay and the Xiaomi Aqara Door open/close sensor.
This is of course from one of my shopping sprees over at Banggood.

I love Xiaomi smart home automation because it is super simple to use and setup. Compared to other Z-wave units like Samsung SmartThings all of Xiaomi stuff works straight out of the box and just amazingly simple to set up. The second best thing is that the sensors are at least half price or even cheaper.
