This is actually from the sound check for the livestream concert to Benefit The Center for Spectrum Services of April '22. The was a glitch in the audio during the concert that rendered "Across The Universe" unlistenable so I figured I'd upload this version to complete the set. I had a little fun with the video footage and enhanced the audio with some Abbey Road plug ins to beef it up but it is 100% live.

Singing this song recently I felt like I had an epiphany about the lyric "Nothing's gonna change my world." I suppose I always thought it was conveying the idea that the world was unchangeable. Now I see it differently though. See, if you view the concept of "Nothing" as achieving cessation of thought, an experience of pure consciousness often generated through the practice of meditation, "Nothing" becomes revolutionary. "Nothing" IS going to change our world by literally transforming our consciousness. Ha ha just my late night Beatle musings and contemplations. Enjoy!
