(A)- Important Dates and Deadlines:
• 1st April to 30 June 2024 is Deadline for submitting the IRS declaration (income tax return).
• Until July 31, 2024 Date to receive the IRS Reimbursement.
• Until August 2024 Date to pay the IRS Fines. If not settled or not communicated for Instalment, It is subject to interest rates.
(B)- Prerequisites, Requirements and compulsory checking to avoid Fines before filling Income Tax:
Follow these steps,
1. Login through your “Financedasportal”
2. Go to “My area”
3. From Menu chose “Personal data”
4. “Contact details”
5. Confirm your “Email and Phone Number” (Optional, Not Mandatory for Income Tax filing)
6. From Menu chose “Household”
7. Sub menu “Submit Change request”
8. Check, change or confirm your Address, Consider as Your «Official Address» in Portugal. In not updates penalty of €375.00.
9. From Menu “Related Services”
10. Choose “ Change IBAN”
11. Make sure you bank details are correct and you see “IBAN Confirmed” Status.
Necessary Steps completed, than you proceed for next step, which is filling the Income Tax.
