Purpose-built, the forestry equipment combines a compact top assembly with a compact boom geometry to minimize residual damage in selective harvest applications.
The combination of high horsepower and optimized harvester head hydraulics gives the operator responsive control, fast feeding, and powerful delimbing and debarking capabilities. The result is high productivity and the lowest cost per ton of logs processed.
Specifically designed for harvesting on steep slopes, it provides long-term uptime and durability.

How does a tree harvester work?
Harvesters are employed effectively in level to moderately steep terrain for clearcutting areas of forest. For very steep hills or for removing individual trees, humans working with chain saws are still preferred in some countries.
Harvesters may be wheeled or tracked machines with a processing head attachment. The processing head is capable of felling, delimbing, and bucking a tree to desired lengths. Wheeled harvesters are purpose-built machines having four to eight wheels on an articulated chassis.
