In search of a unique solution for her pupils, former head teacher Jude Ragan found chef Djalma Lucio Polli de Carvalho – Lucio for short. His thoughtful, varied menus have transformed children’s lives. They have won the Observer Food Monthly 2015 Award for outstanding achievement.
