CONCEPT: The dissertation "White REVERIE" studies the issue of identity in contemporary art and self-discovery through art. The source of inspiration is a happy recurring dream, which took place in the artist's subconscious, at an early age. This last detail, favored the merging of the conscious with the unconscious, thus creating the impression that these two worlds are part of the same story. The artist remembers the deep feelings generated by the dream: she was visiting, again and again, a place-friend, full of authentic happiness; but she felt also, a strong longing, disappointment - realizing later that she can no longer reach it. The artist capitalized on the abundance of aesthetic states and visuals from this unconscious reverie and transformed them, through the collection, into a decorative form, which would transmit to the public the state of authentic happiness.
The artist collected started with collecting shells from a beach, this details accentuated the personal experience. During the cutting process, the artist recycled the small strips of textile material, creating a zero waste texture from them.
