Oasis begins their first round of USA shows in Detroit, more specifically, Rochester Hills. Similar to the show in Indianapolis in 2001, both cities are technically in the metro but are on the outskirts. The capacity of the theatre is quite large, at around 7,000.
The setlist has changed already to fit Liam's voice. Stop Crying Your Heart Out is gone and Love Like A Bomb has taken its place. Love Like A Bomb would be on the setlist till the beginning of July. Noel's solo songs have been switched so now The Importance Of Being Idle now leads Little By Little.
The crowd is quite animated, much like the show at the Tabernacle in Atlanta I posted a while ago. It is possible there's a mix of Americans and British at the show, thus making the crowd a little more excited, but nevertheless, Oasis does put on a show. Arguably the biggest pop of the night belongs to Lyla, but Wonderwall still takes the crown. The crowd makes a few Liam jokes when Liam walks off stage for Noel's songs, but just harmless banter.
