The worst floods to hit the Balkans in more than a hundred years are now triggering landslides and unearthing hundreds of landmines in the region. More than 37 people have been killed in the heavy downpours mainly in Serbia and Bosnia, as waters submerged towns and swept away roads and bridges. Tens of thousands have been displaced and large areas of agricultural land devastated.
