APPLICATION SCENARIOS
There are many ways to use the THB with two horns. You may be looking to add more capacity to your existing sector and use a different channel with each antenna - remember symmetrical horns cover 1300 MHz of bandwidth. With the additional channel, you may even decide to use different radio platforms offering higher grade service for the interested customers.
Maybe, you want to have a simple and elegant solution for a redundant AP on a site - with THB and additional horn it is a very easy and economical solution.
HOW TO USE THB
Combinations of RF elements Symmetrical horns, interfaces and radios are almost endless. Let us cover the most common combinations. RF elements symmetrical horns come with TwistPort and N-connector interface.

Using THB with the TwistPort horns you have two options:
1. You can use SMA adaptors and connect them to the radio with pigtails. If you are using ePMP3000 or mimosa A5C radios, you can mount the radios directly with the horns on the THB. Any other 4x4 or 2x2 radios must be mounted on the tower.
2. You can use TwistPort adaptors we offer for Cambium, UI, mimosa and MikroTik radios. But make sure beforehand there is enough space to fit two TPAs with radio, sometimes the install might be a little tight for your liking or even impossible. Please check our compatibility sheet for THB, TPA and radios.

If you have Symmetrical horns with the N-connectors, the installation is straightforward - use any of the two bracket profiles with the four-connector radios, or any other radio attached to the tower.
Installation is easy. Before climbing the tower, it’s a good idea to attach the antennas and the radio to the bracket body while on the ground - the comfortable handle makes it easy to attach to a harness. Install the pole mount on the pole and simply slide the bracket in the position. Now you can aim the bracket - the azimuth and elevation measures are easy to read. Once done, simply tighten the azimuth and elevation bolts, and you’re ready to rock!
