A lot of followers asked me for a video on lauching a foilkite in very strong winds. I got lucky a friend got it on camera. Here we are launching the Ozone R1 V4 7.0 in over 40 knots. Winds would later pick up to 55 knots. Here you get an idea of how hard and how dangerous it can be if you're not prepared and experienced to handle this type of kite in these conditions. It's a three man job, one stabilizing the kite on the ground, rider and one holding the rider until the kite is fully inflated and even after that until the rider is safely on his board in the water.
