That is the insane net annual cost of illegal immigration on American taxpayers as of 2023.


To put this in perspective, the fiscal year 2024 US Budget requested $90.0 billion in discretionary funding for the Department of Education, and even that was a 13.6% increase from last year.


You might be wondering just how many illegal immigrants are there in the states to impose such a strain, right?


According to a 2023 FAIR Research report, the number of illegal immigrants in the US reached 16.8 million!


That excludes their US-born children who, if taken into consideration, hike the number approximately to 22.5 million.
