Basil is one of my favourite herbs to use in cooking and canning.🌿 In the fall, when I am canning my tomatoes into soup and sauces, it is really handy to have loads of basil at my fingertips.🍁🍅 So I always plant basil in my garden two times. In the spring for use in summer recipes, and then I transplant more basil in the fall for use in fall cooking and canning.
