In December 2014, my wife and I were fortunate enough to venture on a 3 day shark expedition with the Rodney Fox crew to the Neptune Islands, South Australia. Rodney Fox have the only vessel in the area to have a crane that can lower a diving cage to the ocean floor. I returned home with about 3 hours of GoPro footage (enough to put me off editing it for 2 years). This footage was taken standing on different parts of the ocean floor and just observing. Over the course of the three days, the crew estimated that we saw about 20 different individuals sharks (mostly males over summer months). These were truly majestic animals and we both consider ourselves fortunate to have seen them like this.
