I have these boots that I got from Cary Lane, a sample sale store with a few locations in SF - which I highly recommend checking out if you're ever in the area. I really like the quality of the boots but I didn't find myself wearing them very often because of the orange color of the leather. I mentioned this and a commenter suggested using mink oil to darken the leather, so I gave that a try and shared the results.
