This is a video in my new Core Concepts series -- designed to provide students and lifelong learners a brief discussion focused on one main concept from a classic philosophical text and thinker.
This video focuses on Plato's work, the Symposium, and specifically on the speech made by Eryximachus. It focuses on his discussion of how his conception of (good) Love as something like an agreement between opposites plays out not only in his art of Medicine, but also in Music.
