We decided to produce a fun song to celebrate Earth Day. Earth Day is an annual event celebrated all over earth on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection and ecological restoration.Started in 1970 in the U.S. it now includes events coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network[1] in more than 193 countries.[2]

In 1969 John McConnell proposed a day to honor the Earth and the concept of peace, to first be celebrated on March 21, 1970, the first day of spring in the northern hemisphere. This celebration of nature was later sanctioned in a proclamation written by McConnell and signed by Secretary General U Thant at the United Nations. Later United States Senator Gaylord Nelson proposed the idea to hold a nationwide environmental teach-in on April 22, 1970. Denis Hayes was appointed the National Coordinator by Nelson. Soon Nelson and Hayes renamed the event “Earth Day.” Nelson was later awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom award in recognition of his work.[3] The first Earth Day was focused on the United States. In 1990, Denis Hayes, the original national coordinator in 1970, took it international and organized events in 141 nations.

On April 22nd, 2016, the landmark Paris Agreement was signed by the United States, China, and some 120 other countries. Trump pulled out of this agreement in 2018 soon after he took office siting it's expense for the U.S.

Numerous communities celebrate Earth Day Week, an entire week of activities focused on the environmental issues that the world faces.

We at Earth Repairian are dedicated to healing and honoring our earth reclaiming the ecology in which humans thrive and strive to pass along a better legacy to future generations one of hope, environmental justice and progress in regenerative agriculture, renewable energy, sustainable development and call for all governments and private companies around the world to start investing most of it's resources into healing our planet.
