An update to some version of the Excel application forces the menu bar settings to be global (all files) instead of for each individual file, so the manual calculations setting doesn’t lock. The update makes some valid digital signatures in Excel to display as invalid. This quick how-to video explains the Excel workaround for this issue. The workaround requires opening a blank Excel Workbook, changing the calculating options to Manual, then opening the file with the invalid signature. This process should make valid signatures appear valid in Excel.
This can affect all digitally signed FDOT Excel Forms depending on the version of Excel used.
