✤ No-Oven Banana Chips -
3 Green bananas
- 2g (1tsp)Turmeric powder (can be omitted)
- 2g (1tsp) Salt
- 32g (4Tbsp) Water
✤ Oven Banana Chips
- 3 Green bananas
- 1g (0.5tsp) Turmeric powder (can be omitted)
- 1g (0.5tsp) Salt
- 50g (5Tbsp) Cooking oil
✤ TIP - When the fried banana chips are soggy, bake them in an oven preheated to 160 degrees for 4 to 5 minutes. The oil will drain out and it will be crispy.
- Seal leftover chips and store refrigerated or frozen.
- Turmeric powder is for yellow rather than flavor, so you can omit it.
- You only need to add turmeric water once (1 tablespoon) when frying 3 times.
- Deep-fried on low heat based on a small 18cm pot. (For larger pots, you can fry them over medium heat.)
- When frying, add only enough bananas to spread one by one without overlapping. That will make it crispy.
- Fried chips are more delicious than oven chips.
