I had the plan to do this next time I bump into a Class 150, and today happened to be today when I took the train between Harrogate and Hammerton. Class 150 used to be commonplace on the Harrogate Line, as well as the Pacer, and during when I lived in Knaresborough (and brought back memories from when that was my local railway line). Nowadays, Class 170 Turbostars are the main form of traction on the line, but today, they were supplimented by 2 Class 150s (150271 and 150220) just like the old days. So I took the oppertunity to film the 150 departing Hammerton and use the sounds from the Class 150 on Train Sim World 2: West Cornwall Local on it, just for a fun idea. And then film the Class 150 departing Hayle on TSW2 with the sound of the real Class 150. Although yes, I was slightly disappointed with the sounds of the WCL Class 150, but I do like driving the 150 across the West Cornwall Local route. This was just for a bit of fun, and for those wondering, I went back to Harrogate on the normal Turbostar.
Although I do admit I did probably leave Hayle a bit to quickly, but then again, it was on a downhill slope towards St Erth and Penzance.
