Russia to test Ansat at high altitude
The Kazan Helicopters plant will test the Ansat helicopter under high-mountain conditions to verify the aircraft’s operational capability at an altitude of up to 2,500m. To date, the confirmed flight-level pressure of the Ansat has not exceeded 1,000m, meaning the helicopter is not certified for operation in high mountains. The helicopter’s performance will be tested for two months in a series of flights at an altitude between 2,000 and 2,500m in the Bermamyt Plateau region, Karachay-Cherkessia....
