Lumpiang sariwa is a Filipino vegetable dish wrapped in soft egg flour wrapper served with sweet garlic sauce and crushed peanuts.
Ingredients:
Lumpiang sariwa:
- 400g chicken breast or pork, thinly sliced
- 1/2 head medium cabbage, shredded
- 2 medium size carrots, julienned
- 1 cup green beans (Baguio beans), thinly sliced
- 1 medum size sweet potato (kamote), cut into strips
- 2 cups beans sprout
- 1 celery stalk, thinly sliced
- 1 medium size white onion, peeled and chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 1 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 chicken broth cube
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 cup water
- salt and pepper to taste
- cooking oil
- lettuce
- crushed peanuts
Fresh lumpia sauce:
- 6 tablespoon soy sauce
- 6 tablespoon brown sugar
- 4 tablespoon cornstarch or casava flour
- 2 cups water
Fresh lumpia wrapper:
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups water
- yellow food coloring (optional)
