Many in the automotive space have long debated on whether or not the Honda Ridgeline, which is a Pilot-based and non-ladder-frame vehicle, is really a "real" pickup truck. After a week of testing this new HPD (Honda Performance Development) version we feel as though we can answer that question.

Let us not also forget how similar in format this Ridgeline is to Ford's immensely popular Maverick. This Ridgeline is larger, and has more storage inside and out compared with Ford's mini-truck. This really may be the perfectly sized pickup for most who feel they "need" a truck.
