I headed out for some metal detecting on historical land with my Garrett AT Max in the hope of finding that elusive hoard of anything silver. The rain was pouring, but that didn't stop me finding a little hotspot of coins, including a silver coin. Dancing in a motorbike suit with wellies on isn't the easiest haha Thanks to Pete and Mike for the company.
Metal detecting with a Garrett AT Max metal detector, I sometimes use the Garrett APEX on pasture, but the smaller Viper coil on the AT Max is better for cultivated land. Tips for beginners metal detecting along the way, and always a bit of funshine.
