This is one option I use for accenting cracks with color. In this woodturning video I am woodturning a log that has cracks in it. I am using colored sand with CA glue to fill them. This is a good way to use wood with cracks and add character with different colors. Another option I use a lot is epoxy with food coloring. (links for these down below). The wood in this wood turning project is Pacific madrone. The project is a small vase. Also known as a dry flower vase. You could also add a test tube to add water for fresh flowers.
