Alpinestars Oscar Firm Drystar Boots: [ Ссылка ]
Vintage style, ample protection, that’s what you get with the new Firm Drystar Boots, from Alpinestars’ Oscar line.
They’re full grain leather boots, with hand finished, distressed uppers. This means that no two pairs will look exactly alike.
Then there’s the waterproof and breathable Drystar membrane, integrated into the boots for protection against moisture. The vulcanized rubber sole is grippy and has workboot style tread.
There’s extra padding in the quilted shift pads, a nice subtle reinforcement for this high use area that doesn’t disrupt the overall aesthetic of the boot.
The interesting touches on the exterior don’t stop there either. The traditional lace-up closure is complemented by a buckle strap at the collar and down the inside of each boot is a full length, gusseted zipper with button snap. This means the boots open nice and wide when you’re going to slip them on or off.
Despite their large look, the Firm Drystar boots are surprisingly light on my feet. Each boot weighs 1 pound 11 ounces. The closure system is really nice too, providing an even, tight feel around the ankles and up the lower leg. The sole is understandably stiff, since these are brand new, but right out the box I was impressed by how comfortable these are.
As for protection, these are CE certified boots with internal toe box and heel reinforcements. There’s dual density PU ankle discs built into the chassis as well.
If vintage style boots are your thing, you’re going to love the Firm Drystar boots. Check the description above for a link to pricing, sizing and color options, and be sure to subscribe to Riders Domain for more product spotlights and motorcycle reviews.
