In this video I demonstrate how to boil, clean and make a deer skull white with a twist! We are keeping the lower jaw! This is a very rare way to do a european mount and it is definitely a good conversation starter. This way of a european mount for a deer is not hard to do. A few more easy steps and BOOM! You have a beautiful trophy!
Boiling a skull is super easy, cost effective and it is a fun skill to learn. All you need is a pot, propane boiler, pressure washer, a good knife and a couple bottles of hydrogen peroxide.
The biggest mistake made is not cutting off as much meat off the skull as possible. This takes forever but when done right it makes spraying off the skull very easy.
Gear I use:
Cheap galvanized pot from Menards
40 Volume hydrogen peroxide
stanley pressure washer
fixed blade knife and havalon knife
turkey fryer stand
