While on this ride, I couldn't help but feel that the mountain was sending me a message that I wasn't totally welcome there anymore because it was about to enter a very inhospitable state for dirt bikes. It was really strange because I'd never felt that type of feeling before from this area.

It was subsequently my last mountain ride of 2021. Sad day. I miss the high mountains for half the year. I'll be reunited with it again in June/July of 2022.
