The video starts by showcasing the night sky from the perspective of the ground before focusing on the Lagoon Nebula as captured by the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope. The nebula is vast, measuring 55 light-years wide and 20 light-years tall, and due to its size, Hubble is only able to capture a small portion of it with remarkable detail.
The nebula contains powerful winds from hot stars, swirling columns of gas, and dynamic star formation, all ensconced within a complex mixture of gas and dark dust.
