Prison of Desire es el primer álbum de estudio de la banda holandesa de Metal After Forever bajo el sello Transmission. Este álbum combina los géneros representativos del gothic metal y metal sinfónico. Sus melodías son depresivas y un tanto agresivas y los temas tienen duraciones extensas en comparación a sus álbumes futuros. Fue el álbum que les abrió las puertas y la que les dio el ranking a una de las mejores bandas de gothic metal del momento.
