All went well apart from the drive posts not fitting in the new SSD mount. I never used the cutter wheel, maybe it's better than razor blades. If you try it, let me know what you think.

If you want to save $50 on the SSD get it from B&H. I prefer to deal with B&H over Amazon.
The foam tape & sensor kits from 2012 on up will work. I used a 2012 kit.
