I had to wait for a while but I’ve really enjoyed the PEI powder coated sheet on my Prusa MK3. So when the chance came to test a version available for most 3D printers, I took it. The Everflex sheet and Staymag base combination from Subtle Design has passed all of my tests so far, and might be what you’re looking for, especially if you want to produce parts that don’t look 3D printed on the bottom surface.
I am happy with my Wham Bam system, but will keep this Everflex sheet to mix and match as various prints require. In combination with a BLtouch this can be changed with no calibration required. This is not a review of the product’s longevity, but so far so good.
The Alfawise U30 was a disappointment for me, but after these mods it is starting to print much better. I swapped the mainboard because the MKS Gen L is known to me, I had a few lying around and I could fit a touch screen to keep the factory style.
