An incredibly talented sand artist has created a giant first-class postage stamp portrait on Bamburgh Beach. Claire Eason, 57, painstakingly constructed the piece using a garden rake to commemorate the upcoming Platinum Jubilee.
The astonishing tribute to Her Majesty The Queen is eye-catching from ground level, but witnessing the portrait from the air is when it becomes truly breathtaking. Claire, of Sunderland, decided upon the image of a first-class stamp because it is one of the most recognisable of Queen Elizabeth.
