With the passing of General Colin Powell, the world mourns him, and many share memories about the history-making figure.
Terron Sims, the vice chair of the DNC Veterans and Military Families Council, and Joseph Cirincione, who worked with Secretary Colin Powell on the Nuclear Threat Initiative, joined “DC Today” with host Del Walters to discuss how Powell impacted their careers. Powell was the first Black chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as well as the first Black man to serve as secretary of state.
