Dr. Philippe Morel is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Geneva and doctor in the visceral surgery department at the Geneva University Hospital.
He obtained his Federal Diploma of Medicine at the University of Geneva in 1978. Thereafter he specialized in the field of surgery with a year of specialisation from 1984-1985 in Birmingham (England) in the field of colorectal surgery. He then specialized successively from 1988-1991 in Minneapolis, University Hospital of Minnesota and Pittsburg, Presbyterian Hospital in the state of Pasadena in the United States, in the organ transplantation field and his service works with the robot Da Vinci and leads a clinical program for minimally invasive surgeries.
